Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is part of the culture of ICM, Integral de Conexión y Montajes, S.L.
Related to CSR, ICM is based on the Ten Principles of the Global Compact of the United Nations (Global Compact). It is supported by ICM, as a Participant, since 2022.
The UN Global Compact is a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the áreas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of UN goals and issues embodied in the Sustanaible Development Goals (SDGs).
The 10 Principles of the UN Global Compact derive from declarations of the United Nations on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and are of universal consensus.
“Companies must support and respect the protection of fundamental human rights, recognized internationally, within their sphere of influence.”
“Companies must ensure that their companies are not complicit in the violation of Human Rights.”
“Companies must support the freedom of affiliation and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.”
“Companies must support the elimination of all forms of forced or coerced labour.”
“Companies should support the eradication of child labour.”
“Companies must support the abolition of discriminatory practices in employment and occupation.”
“Companies must maintain a preventive approach that favours the environment.”
“Companies should encourage initiatives that promote greater environmental responsibility.”
“Companies should favour the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.”
“Companies must work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.”
