Continuity of the ISO 9001 certification in ICM

On November the 19th, Cámara Certifica informed ICM (Integral de Conexion y Montajes, S.L.) of the continuity of the ISO 9001 certification at its factory in Illescas (Toledo, Spain).

The audit took place the previous week, giving rise to the positive report confirming the continuity of the ISO 9001 certification.

ICM obtained it on November 27th in 2011, at the factory in Illescas; and on September the 13rd, in 2014 in Aranjuez (Madrid, Spain).

The ISO 9001: 2015 Standard is an international standard that forms the basis of the Quality Management System (QMS). It focuses on the elements of quality management that every company that wants to have an effective system to manage and improve the quality of its products or services should have.

In ICM quality compliance is evidenced through the various actions, as for example:

o Definition of the Quality Policy

o Implementation of the System at documentary level

o Analysis of the risks associated with the processes and stakeholders of the SGL

o Establishment of a communication matrix to facilitate communication channels

o Establishment of indicators and monitoring

o Establishment of objectives and analysis of compliance

o Improvement of production processes and factory layout

These actions have led, among other aspects, to:

  • Continuous training provided to ICM’s staff so that they understand about their influence on the quality and safety of the product.
  • The objectives of ICM are established annually, as well as those of the rest of the Group, and periodic monitoring and analysis of them is carried out.
