Ariane 6 is a space launch vehicle developed and manufactured by Ariane Group under the authority of the European Space Agency with the first flight scheduled for 2021. The motivation of Ariane 6 is to replace Ariane 5 and to achieve important cost savings in an increasingly competitive market.
